Jonathan “Iron” Jackson is building something difficult to ignore.
Fighting out of Jackson, Mississippi, Jackson closed AKA 57 at Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, Louisiana with one of the most impressive performances of the night, submitting veteran Justice “The Gavel” Lamparez by rear-naked choke at 1:25 of the second round.
The victory extended Jackson’s professional MMA winning streak to four and continued an even more impressive run across combat sports.
Six Straight Across Combat Sports
Jackson has now won six consecutive contests across MMA, boxing and professional grappling.
The streak began in October 2024 when Jackson submitted Jason Aldridge with a wrist lock in a professional grappling match. He followed that performance with a unanimous-decision MMA victory over Rance Ward before stepping into boxing and stopping Unterio Gladney by first-round TKO.
Then came two more important MMA victories.
Jackson stopped Michael McDonald by doctor stoppage in the second round before returning in February 2026 to defeat Shlomo Boyd by unanimous decision.
AKA 57 presented a different kind of challenge.
A Veteran Standing Across the Cage
Standing across the cage was Justice Lamparez, an experienced professional veteran who has spent years competing throughout the regional MMA scene.
Jackson never appeared overwhelmed by that experience.
Instead, “Iron” remained composed and trusted the technique that has carried him throughout his recent run. When the opportunity presented itself in the second round, Jackson capitalized, secured the back and finished Lamparez with a rear-naked choke.
It was a technical finish against an opponent who has seen just about everything a regional MMA career can offer.
The victory improved Jackson’s professional MMA record to 10-6 and gave him four consecutive victories inside the cage.
More Than an MMA Winning Streak
What makes Jackson’s current run especially interesting is the variety.
He has won with grappling. He has won with his hands. He has won decisions over three rounds. He has forced a stoppage. And now, on the AKA stage, he has added another submission to the streak.
Jackson is not following the traditional prospect storyline. He is an experienced fighter who appears to be putting everything together and producing some of the best results of his career.
That makes him an increasingly interesting name as American Kombat Alliance continues building its presence throughout the South.
Building Southern MMA
AKA was built in Louisiana, but the Southern fight scene extends far beyond state lines. Fighters from Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas and throughout the region are increasingly crossing paths, creating opportunities for some of the South’s best regional talent to compete against one another.
Jackson represents exactly the type of fighter who can help connect those markets.
He fights out of Jackson, Mississippi and has built his recent run through competition across multiple combat sports before bringing that momentum to Marksville for the AKA 57 main event.
He left Louisiana with another finish.
Four straight professional MMA victories.
Six straight victories across combat sports.
And considerably more momentum than when the streak began.
Jonathan “Iron” Jackson has earned the right to be watched closely.
The question now is what comes next.
